Caries treatment
Teeth caries is a disease that can be caused by many reasons, but the main three factors are: vulnerability of tooth tissues to caries, dental plaque and constant contact with acid-producing bacteria (especially small parts of carbohydrates).
Separately from these factors minor factors influence the formation of caries: saliva, its composition and volume; duration of substances influence which effect the forming of dental plaque.
Occlusion abnormality and teeth anomalies also influence this process.
All modern theories of caries formation are based on the theory of Miller (1890) who found out that mouth bacteria metabolize small parts of carbohydrates. Organic acids that are formed during this process (lactic acid, acetic and propionic acid) influence considerably the formation of caries.
Plaque on gums causes formation of caries and gingivitis, plaque under gums leads to periodontium diseases.
The absence of dental deposit in oral cavity is possible only in case of patient's regular visits to dentist.
Patient should be well-informed about the reasons of parodontopathy and teeth caries. Patient should be taught the rules of dental hygiene. Such consultations are to be held systematically because correct hygiene prevents periodontium diseases and decreases the risk of caries formation.

BLEEDING
Bleeding gums are the signs and symptoms of a definite gum or tooth disease. Almost every disease pertaining to the teeth or gums holds bleeding gums among the chief indicators. Nonetheless, continual bleeding of gums can be due to other serious disorders, for instance, platelet disorders or leukemia.
Poor oral hygiene leads to diseases of gums and teeth, and hence bleeding of gums. It is necessary that everyone should maintain proper health of the oral cavity. Regular and proper brushing and flossing is indispensable to prevent bleeding of the gums. Proper brushing and flossing also includes brushing and flossing in the right way, without applying too much force or pressure, and avoiding traumatizing the gum tissue.
When the oral cavity is not cleaned properly, the bacteria in the mouth flourish and grow. These bacteria produce plaque and different toxins and acids. These factors lead to the problem of bleeding gums. This problem is known as gingivitis, in which the gums not only bleed, but also get inflamed.
The other associated symptoms include the changing of the color of the gums, from pink to bright red, sometimes even purple.
The plaque in the mouth should be removed appropriately. If appropriate brushing and flossing is done, it's usually enough to remove the plaque from the teeth. Sometimes, a proper treatment of cleaning from a dental hygienist also becomes necessary to remove the plaque from the mouth. Whatever the method, it is essential to remove the plaque from the teeth.
The plaque on the teeth, if not removed, would turn into tartar. Tartar is hardened form of plaque and it requires a more complex method of removal from the teeth. Failure to get the appropriate treatment to remove the tartar would not only amplify the problem of bleeding gums, but would also lead to gingivitis, and then to periodontitis.
The most common causes of bleeding gums are:
Bleeding diseases and disorders
Applying excessive pressure while brushing
Pregnancy
Poorly fitted dentures
Inappropriate flossing of teeth
Leukemia
Insufficiency of vitamins, particularly vitamin K
Consumption of blood thinners
